didn't buy it as a laptop tray but something to rest my crossword books on while I am doing them, it was ideal, no more back ache leaning over to do them, very light weight and folds flat taking up very little space when not in use, not sure if it would be okay for a laptop but I would say ideal for tablets and notebooks.

Easily accommodates a 15-inch laptop. Not even tried to use the mouse pad - why would you when you’ve got a decent sized trackpad? Not sure how robust the plastic construction will be over time - I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks, and only occasional use in that time. Modest weight.

This Navaris laptop tray is what I have been looking for. I was tired of using a couch cushion for my tablet to set on. It adjust to different angles and latches when closed. The pads on the bottom are soft and does not bunch up. The only problem I have with it is the fold up lip on the bottom does not go all the way across. Good purchase.
