This is my second Klim cooling pad and I wish I had never bought either of them. The first I purchased (a different model) had issues after the warranty ran out with the USB connectors dropping if you breathed heavily near them. I thought maybe it was my fault so purchased this second one and have been extra careful with it. I also liked that it came with an extended warranty. EXCEPT YOU CANNOT ACTIVATE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY because the site on the paperwork does not appear to work. It has some error message about the domain and there is no way to register the warranty. To make matters worse, this new machine, from day one appeared to have the same USB disconnecting issue. At this point I thought that it must be the USB ports themselves, though I had the same issue on all three of the ports. Then, this weekend I upgraded my laptop, expecting the cooling pad to finally work, only to find that it disconnects on this one too. I also don't think it actually does much to cool the machine either. My older laptop has a great temperature monitoring program inbuilt and I carefully checked the temperature when the cooling pad was working against when it was not and the difference is not even noticeable. A total waste of money. Unfortunately since I use my laptop on a tray on my lap, I am limited in choices for cooling pads that are large enough for the laptop size, but also small enough to rest nicely on the tray. So I am going to have to put up with this one or use none at all.

So bought this as my laptop was always hot and I must admit it did keep the laptop cool but the stand at the back was flimsy and the 2 clips at the front well cheap plastic it snapped it light up nice but the build quality was not good sad because it did do a good job when working

Habe es für meinen Laptop HP Omen 17 bestellt und bin positiv überrascht. Mit der Kühlleistung bin ich sehr zufrieden, habe es mir meinen lieblings Spielen getestet und habe bei der CPU, GPU, ddr5 RAM und den beiden m.2 SSD weniger Hitzeentwicklung. Bei Lüfterstufe 3 habe ich ca. 10 - 15 Grad weniger im System. Qualität allgemein ist Ok. Ist halt Plastik, aber hält meinen 17 Zöller gut im Sattel und passt genau auf die Klim V8. Die Lüfter sind leise und laufen ruhig im Vergleich zu den Laptoplüftern die unter Last um einiges lauter sind. Hoffe das die Lüfter noch lange so leise bleiben und das Plastik stabil genug ist für lange Spiele Partys.
