I found this table to be almost perfect for my needs. It is a reasonable price, and the width is just right for resting a full size keyboard and mouse next to each other while sitting on the floor and looking at a separate monitor. It could also be employed for any other table like activity and, I daresay, would be quite splendid for putting a laptop on (almost makes me wish I had a laptop) and, while I would not wish to try and sit on it, I feel that the table is sturdy enough for my needs. The only minor point I might mention is the circular indentation about 3mm deep on the left hand side; this seems to be made in the hope that it will stop a cup sliding away. If you wish to put a cup on the table, and always wish to put it in the same place, this may not be a problem. If not, then it will roughly as useful as a 3mm deep circular indentation in a table top might be expected to be. Having said this, I'm still minded to give five stars as this is a very good product for the price :)

OMG - why have I waited so long to get one of these!? THE POSITIVES 1. It encourages much better posture when using a laptop. This is the biggest plus for me. 2. It puts wrists in a much better position, thus avoiding RSI type damage. Also a big plus for me. 3. I was a bit worried it might be a too wide, but the phots show that it fits onto a 4' wide bed with space to spare. However - probably only with one person in the bed at a time. Two people could squeeze under at a push, but it would be pretty tight - you'd need to get on with them very well! : ). I thought I needed a desk with the slopey bit centrally positioned, but in retrospect I think the narrower desk with a flat bit only on one side would have been fine. 4. The stopper that prevents the laptop slipping off the bottom of the 'desk' is removable, which is great if you want to use the table flat. However, for me, it's too tall and the corners on the top edge are too square. I'm going to give it to a carpenter friend of mine to shorten it and round the corners off so it doesn't dig into my wrists so much. 5. The stopper thingy can be stored in the small drawer, so the table can be folded really flat for storage. However the drawer is tiny, a pen only fits in diagonally (see photo). No probs if you don't need to store anything more than the stopper in it! 6. It arrived in super-fast time from the date of order, especially since it looks like it came from the Netherlands (not China, where it was made). 7. The little circular dip for a cup is great for being just enough resistance to prevent your cup from slipping off the table too easily. 8. It's really handy having the flat sections on either side for TV remote control, wireless mouse, paperwork, etc. 9. It has a nice matt finish and apart from the bottom of the legs, the flat surfaces are generally quite smooth - the edges less so though. 10. The legs are adjustable to different heights. 11. The slopey section is adjustable to different slope angles. 12. It's strong and sturdy, and not too heavy. THE NEGATIVES 1. The biggest negative for me is that the bottom of the legs are not sufficiently sanded and the rough edge catches on the fabric of my duvet cover, especially due to it being a jacquard type fabric, so I'm going to have to sand them down to get rid of the rough bits. This is the reason I deducted one star. 2. When the slopey section of the desk is down, it isn't absolutely flat because it looks like the wood has warped a bit along the edges of the middle section. I think this would only really be a problem if you wanted to use the desk for sketching - but then again, if that's what you were going to do on it, you'd buy one without the vent holes in the first place. For an uber-flat surface, (for drawing/sketching for example) you'd need to have a thick piece of card to put on top of the table I think. 3. There's nothing to keep the drawer closed, so it just slides open if you tip the table. However, there is a stopper, so it doesn't slide out totally, it just slides open. 4. If you're getting it as a gift and don't want to give away what's inside, you'll be disappointed as the contents is advertised on the packaging (see photo). 5. On the one that arrived with me, there was a dent/scratch on the front edge (see photo). It's an aesthetic issue as it's not perfectly smooth, but it doesn't affect the functionality. All in all however, I love it and I should have got one of these a long time ago.

Overall this is a very good product. Made from well finished wood with both an adjustable laptop support and a small drawer for nicknacks. I like the fact that the height of the unit can be adjusted too, making it useful in bed and/or sitting in a chair. However, this is also my area of concern in that the leg adjustment is simply piece of wood with an elongated hole in it's centre allowing it to slide, and held in place by a simple wing nut. My wife has rheumatism and simply cannot tighten the wingnuts sufficiently to hold it in place and, If I do it for her, she then cannot release the nuts to enable the legs to be folded up. This would be an area of manufacture that would be easy to improve upon by the replacing of the wingnuts with a simple 'over-centre' lever which most users would find easier to operate. Still worthy of a 4 star rating and, if they change the height adjusting design, a 5.

Bought this for working from home- sitting crosslegged on the floor at my lappie. Was slightly anxious as had seen a lot of similar items with bad reviews about rough edges and splinters etc but the SONMICS double sided item is very sturdy, with no splinters, and nicely finished. The double sides means I can sit centrally and comfortably. it is a fair weight so if someone is ill or frail night need help to move if used as a bed table - but makes it very sturdy. I've used it for about 3-4 weeks with no prob. I would just say that I put a wet glass in the mug space and it did discolour the bamboo finish a little - so am more careful now and use a placemat. Arrived very quickly and well packaged in bubblewrap to ensure safe delivery. No "handle" on the little drawer but that's not a big issue for me. The "bumper" at the bottom to stop laptop slipping works well. The 5 positions make it very comfy to type and view laptop screen and havent had any issues with it staying in place. The legs extend and have a notch to ensure the extension stays in place - would have been nice to have a slightly higher position - but as it is designed for a bed table, not sitting on the floor - I accept it would change the design and main purpose. it works fine for me. I'm using an ortho coccyx wedge cushion which I bought same time. Very pleased and would recommend this particular version.

Si presenta immediatamente ben realizzato e ben progettato leggero e poco ingombrante da chiuso è spesso 3 dita. Molto comodo il fatto di poter ripiegare le gambe a qualsiasi lunghezza anche alla massima senza dover ogni volta riabbassare l'altezza delle gambe. Ottimo il sistema di tenuta pratico e sicuro impedisce di dover strigere alla morte le viti e/o che le gambe si abbassino accidentalmente. In fermo inferiore del piano di appoggio lo troverete nel cassettino laterale nascosto sotto al ripiano alla vostra destra. Molto spazioso io ho un pc gaming da 17 e passa pollici e ci sta abbondantemente oltre a lasciare spazio per il mouse o addirittura la tavoletta grafica. Il piano inclinabile è anch'esso ben progettato di fatti ha una calamita che impedisce che il ripiano si apra/alzi da solo quando magari manegiate il tavolino in verticale o capovolto. Unica nota io preferirei una posizione ancor più bassa per l'inclinazione del ripiano ( ce ne sono ben 5) ma non penso sarà un gran problema creare una sesta scanalatura dove voglio io visto che è tutto di legno è facilmente personalizzabile. Ottime le prese d'aria si possono installare delle ventole appunto che è tutto legno viti e aggiunte di hub usb non sasanno un problema per i più abili manualmente. Il porta bicchiere/bottiglia di birra :-) non è male nè troppo profondo da rubare spazio nè troppo poco. Mi ripeto dicendo che l'ho trovato ben fatto quindi lo consiglio. Vedremo la durabilità nel tempo se ci saranno problemi tornerò qui a descriverli.

Belle table pour travailler dans son lit ou sur un canapé d’une largeur suffisante. Pratique pour les gauchers et les droitiers. Facile à ranger. Pas très légère. Elle est assez large comme indiqué dans les dimensions. On peut y poser autre chose que l’ordinateur, tablette ou livre, comme un café (attention, pas d’antidérapant), stylos, papiers, souris, téléphone... Elle est solide avec un beau design. Les « rosaces » au milieu permettent à l’ordinateur de respirer mieux, même si la surface est plate. On peut s’en servir aussi par terre. En résumé, on peut l’adapter à plusieurs types d’utilisation (même pour manger dessus). Attention à l’entretien du bois.

Das ist ein Tisch genau wie ich ihn haben wollte und ich habe schon einige gekauft und dann wieder entsorgt. Die Verarbeitung ist top. Ich kann keinerlei Mängel feststellen. Der Tisch wirkt sehr wertig. Bei vielen Betttischen ist nur ein Teil aus Holz. Der Rest aus billigem Ersatzmaterial. Hier ist alles Holz. Er ist stufenlos höhenverstellbar. Wichtig war mir jedoch die Größe. Jetzt kann ich mein Laptop draufstellen und daneben noch ein Papier zum Notizen machen legen und ein Glas mit einem Getränk daraufstellen. Dafür gibt es eine Einkerbung für das Glas, damit selbiges nicht so leicht verrutscht. Auch zum Essen im Bett ist genügend Platz auf dem Tisch. Endlich ein Frühstück im Bett bei dem man sich nicht mehr so sehr einschränken muss. Der mittlere Teil hat Einkerbungen, damit das Laptop nicht so schnell überhitzt und lässt sich hochklappen. Hochgestellt ist es insbesondere für das Lesen im Bett angenehm. Ich lege da gerne ein Buch oder den Kindle darauf und kann ganz entspannt lesen. Es ist eben kein reiner Laptoptisch wie die Artikelbeschreibung vermuten lässt. Der Tisch ist für verschiedene Zwecke einsetzen. Eine anfängliche Geruchsbelästigung wie andere hier berichten, konnte ich bei meinem Tisch nicht feststellen. Fazit: Ich habe zu dem Preis noch nicht annähernd einen besseren Tisch gesehen, weder hier bei Amazon noch anderswo. Ich gebe eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung für diesen Tisch ab.

Solo llevo un día empleandola pero parece de buena calidad, el apoyo es bueno, es fácil de plegar y su peso es lo normal dado el material del que está hecho. Yo la voy a emplear para las clases online pero esta claro que puedes darle otros usos e incluso llevartela al campo y comer sobre ella. Aunque parece grande de primeras es un buen tamaño si quieres usar el ordenador y a la vez escribir o apoyar más cosas. No he probado más alturas porque con la primera para mí ya es suficiente.
