Looking at the reviews for this item the main complaint is that the light does not work. The springs for the batteries are too big for AAA batteries as the lights do not work. I tried AA batteries and they fit perfectly the lights work and the covers slides in with no problem. It seems to me therefore that the battery size given by the supplier is incorrect it should read AA and not AAA.

Really like this lap tray cushion. It is a good size and fits nicely across your lap. It is well made, with good quality materials, making it a good product for the price. The light is the right brightness and you can move it around to allow you to control where you want the light to be directed. I bought it for doing my 3D diamond art and it is perfect. It has a cup holder and slot at the front for putting your bits and bobs in! You could use if for just about anything that you would usually do on your lap!! Definately will recommend.
