I had a dislocated knee and when I sit at my desk, I struggle with really bad knee pain. I moved to my sofa and used a cushion and thought it helped the knee, I then got a stiff neck! I bought this Buildec lap desk and everything's sorted. It arrived, well packaged and easy to use straight from the box. It's robust and spacious to use both in surface area but in room sitting over your legs. You don't feel squeezed in at all. The generous surface space is enough for a MacBook and mouse, phone, a pad if necessary. There's a handy rest where you use the mouse and a ledge which stops your laptop from falling off. The surface is easy to wipe down and it folds flat with no bill and can just be stored down the side of my sofa. I've been very grateful for this product. The last three weeks when I've used it have made work easy and comfortable. The only issue now is trying to retrieve it from my two teenagers who seem to be taking a liking to it a bit too much!

So this would have got 5 stars if the surface of the table was different. It is very hard and slippery and doing anything seems to move about due to the surface. I ended up buying a A3 cutting mat for the other half to use when drawing. Apart from that issue for us, the size is good, easy to use, works well, decent price.

I’m so pleased that I bought this product, now I can spend time away from my desk and comfortably sit on my sofa and work without having to hunch over my laptop and get back or wrist ache! It’s a lot sturdier than I expected after reading some reviews, is easy to adjust and folds away nicely. I wish I’d bought one sooner.

Love this. I use it sitting in the lounge. I have an iPad, but due to health problem cannot hold the iPad for any length of time, but now I use the table and stand the iPad, so I can easily use it. Love the small drawer underneath, ideal for keeping a pen handy.

Unboxing the item, it came well fitted and was prebuilt. It's a great piece of kit when trying to read and multitask on my laptop. Its got a good amount of holders so I can out my laptop, phone etc. Only downside was the fact that the legs holding the table up may be a bit wobbly which does concern me a bit but overall, its really good for day to day use.
